Need Hard Reset Likebook Mimas So I Can Go Through Start Up Process Again

#1  tenque 09-21-2020, 03:56 PM

The battery died overnight and when I plugged it in to turn it on this morning I think it got unplugged during the boot process. Now it's frozen on the "Starting up" screen and no amount of charging or pressing the power push button seems to ready it. The progress squares never modify, and then I can only presume it's stuck powered off.
I upgraded to the Android 8.1 firmware a few weeks back. What can I exercise to backup the internal storage and reset the thing?

leave likebook on charge for several hours
press the power-button in and hold in ( for near xxx seconds or more) until likebook reboots(this is the standard android reboot process for a frozen android system)
if this does not work and then

just plow likebook off (power-off)
reinstall eight.1 upgrade

Well the problem is, my laptop doesn't detect it through USB. I've tried charging it, holding the power button for over xxx seconds, and holding the reset push button while plugging it in, simply nothing works. Equally far as I can encounter, the device is bricked.
